Kurzfassung: Ein US-Israeli hatte ne Rezension von Carters Buch bei Amazon als 'offizielle Rezi' stehen. Der Amerikaner war auch Armeefreiwilliger in der israelischen Armee. Die Rezi des Buches von Jimmy Carter war eeetwas einseitig geraten. Jetzt steht da auch ein ein Interview mit Carter VOR der Rezi des Carter-Gegners.
IMO hätte es auch einfach eine abwägendere Rezi getan. Die Kritik der Petition bezog sich v.a. darauf, dass für die Lesendern der Rezi nicht offensichtlich wurde, welche persönlichen Interessen der Rezensent an der Sache "Israel vs. Palästina" hat.

You have refused to add information shoppers should have in evaluating this review: the fact that the reviewer, Jeffrey Goldberg, is a citizen of Israel as well as the United States, and that he volunteered to serve in the Israeli Defense Forces, for which he worked as a guard at a prison for Palestinian detainees. And you have refused to balance his negative review by giving comparable space to a favorable assessment of the book, even though positive reviews by qualified experts have appeared in many reputable publications.
