Although the Web was once dreamed to be a Utopia, the cruel fact is that the Web is now basically in the hands the commercial power. The dominance problem causes two other serious problems, the autonomy and the privacy problems. As the Net users rely more and more on these super portals, their personal data and privacy are at stake, being potentially utilized for monetization, or even worse, being leaked out to criminal groups. As the service platform is owned by the service providers, the users do not have autonomy." Because website is the main platform for information sharing as well as other Web activities, owning no website means having no power and no property in the Cyberspace. That is the root of the problems.
Über Web 3.0 wird ja viel geredet und das Konzept hier ist ausnahmsweise mal überzeugender.: ein "dezentrales" Web, sozusagen Peer2Peer. Das scheint mir auch sinnvoll: die Computing Power, die heute z.B. Google (verschlüsselt) auf viele viele Clients zu verteilen. Und auch die Datenbanken etc.pp. Sicher gibt es da Probleme z.B. mit der Antwortzeit etc. Aber hey, 1995 sah auch das WWW noch anders aus.
An sich wäre ja der nächste Schritt das nicht mit nem DTP-Client zu machen sondern wiederum mit einer Webapplikation, die aber eben nur App ist und ggf. auch an beliebigen Stellen online mehrmals liegen kann.
Ich nehm es mal als Inspiration über 'verteilte Systeme' mehr nachzudenken. Auch jenseits der IT. Denn wenn System verteilt sind, dann können auch Firmen "verteilt" sein und ganz anders aussehen als bisher.
